The 17th World Conference on Tobacco or Health will be held in Cape Town, South Africa, on March 7-9, 2018, bringing together researchers, academics, non-governmental organizations, civil society, scientists, healthcare professionals and public officials working on all aspects of tobacco control from more than 100 countries. Participants include WHO Director-General Dr Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, South Africa Minister of Health Dr Aaron Motsoaledi and WHO Ambassador for Noncommunicable Diseases and tobacco control advocate Michael R. Bloomberg, among others.
