Seattle, Washington-based Alere Wellbeing (formerly Free & Clear) said that its second International Quitline Institute (IQI) training event, designed to educate nations, including resource-poor countries, about best practices in tobacco cessation interventions, will take place in Singapore at the World Conference on Tobacco or Health, with a pre-conference workshop, "Optimizing the impact of tobacco quitlines: Integration with tobacco control policies and treatment guidelines," to be held on March 20, 2012 from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm.
